BOSTON, MA -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, January 21, that the team has assigned forward Anton Blidh to the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Blidh is in his second full professional season with the Bruins organization in 2016-17 and has skated in 19 games with Boston, posting one goal and one assist for two points with seven penalty minutes. He has also appeared in 21 games with Providence, producing six goals and four assists for 10 points with 22 penalty minutes and a plus-eight rating. The 21-year-old forward skated in 65 games with Providence in 2015-16, compiling 10 goals and four assists for 14 points with 48 penalty minutes.
