BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeneyannounced today, January 17, that the team has assigned goaltender Dan Vladarto Providence and recalled goaltender Max Lagace on an emergency basis.

Vladar, 22, served his first recall to Boston this season for the Bruins' game against Pittsburgh on Thursday, January 16. The 6-foot-5, 185-pound netminder has a 6-5-0 record with a 1.84 goals against average and .935 save percentage in 12 appearances with Providence this season.
Lagace, 27, is being recalled to Boston for the first time this season. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound goaltender has a 14-6-2 record with a 2.49 goals against average and .915 save percentage through 23 games in Providence this season.
