BOSTON -The Boston Bruins announced today, July 14, that Danielle Marmer has been hired as Player Development and Scouting Assistant.

In her role, Marmer will work directly with Player Development Coordinator Adam McQuaidto help develop prospects throughout the entire Bruins system. Marmer spent the 2021-22 season as one of 12 participants in the Boston Bruins Diversity and Inclusion Mentorship Program. This program partnered participants with a mentor in the Bruins Hockey Operations department and provided hands-on coaching and networking opportunities.
Prior to her time in Boston, Marmer spent three years as Director of Player Development and Hockey Operations for Quinnipiac's women's ice hockey team. Marmer focused on game video, player development and day-to-day team operations. Before working with Quinnipiac, Marmer spent two years as an Assistant Coach for the Connecticut College women's ice hockey team. During her time there, she helped lead the team to a second-place finish in the NESCAC, along with a program record of 15 wins.
Additionally, the native of Dorset, Vermont has been involved with USA Hockey camps.
Marmer was a forward in the NCAA for Quinnipiac from 2013-17, appearing in 132 career games. She was part of the 2015-16 ECAC Championship, where the Bobcats finished with their program record of 30-3-5. Marmer studied Legal Studies at Quinnipiac and received the Quinnipiac Scholar Athlete Award, the National Scholar Athlete Award and was named to the ECAC All-Academic Team.
