BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, March 7, that forward Ryan Spooner has been diagnosed with a concussion and will be sidelined indefinitely as the team follows the NHL's concussion protocols. The injury occurred in the third period of the team's game at Ottawa on Monday, March 6.
Spooner, 25, has skated in 65 games with the Bruins in 2016-17, recording 11 goals and 23 assists for 34 points. In his five-year NHL career, the 5-foot-10, 184-pound forward has played in 201 games, compiling 32 goals and 80 assists for 112 points.
