BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, October 7, that the team has made the following selections on Day 2 of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft: defenseman Mason Lohrei(Round 2, Pick 58), forward Trevor Kuntar (Round 3, Pick 89), defenseman Mason Langenbrunner(Round 5, Pick 151) and forward Riley Duran (Round 6, Pick 182).

Lohrei, 19, skated in 48 games with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL in 2019-20, recording eight goals and 29 assists for 37 points with a plus-five rating. His 37 points ranked second among all USHL defensemen. Prior to joining Green Bay, the 6-foot-4, 200-pound defenseman played two seasons at Culver Military Academy Prep, totaling 11 goals and 38 assists for 49 points in 88 games. The Verona, Wisconsin native has committed to Ohio State University for the 2021-22 season.
Kuntar, 19, served as an alternate captain for the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL in 2019-20, recording 28 goals and 25 assists for 53 points with 83 penalty minutes in 44 appearances. The 6-foot, 203-pound forward was tied for third in the USHL in goals and ranked 10th in overall scoring. The Williamsville, New York native is committed to Boston College for the 2020-21 season.
Langenbrunner, 18, skated in 25 games for Eden Prairie (MN) High School in 2019-20, recording five goals and 14 assists for 19 points. In 2018-19, the 6-foot-2, 165-pound defenseman posted three goals and 15 assists for 18 points in 24 games with Cloquet (MN) High School. The Moose Lake, Minnesota native has committed to Harvard University for the 2021-22 season.
Duran, 18, skated in 27 games for Lawrence (MA) Academy in 2019-20, recording 22 goals and 22 assists for 44 points. The 6-foot-2, 179-pound forward is playing this season for the Youngtown Phantoms of the USHL. The Woburn, Massachusetts native is also committed to Providence College for the 2021-22 season.
The Bruins also traded their seventh-round draft pick to the Toronto Maple Leafs for their 2021 seventh-round draft pick.
