Roster Update _ Media Wall

BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, April 9, that the team has recalled forwardsVinni LettieriandOskar Steen, defensemen Jack Ahcan and Connor Carrick, and goaltender Brandon Bussi from Providence on an emergency basis.

Ahcan, 25, has skated in 65 games with Providence this season, recording four goals and 27 assists for 31 points. The 5-foot-8, 180-pound defenseman has appeared in 130 AHL games with Providence, totaling 11 goals and 53 assists for 64 points. The Savage, Minnesota native was signed as a free agent by Boston in 2020.
Bussi, 24, has skated in 31 games with Providence this season, recording an overall record of 21-5-4 with a 2.38 GAA and a .925 SV%. The 6-foot-5, 209-pound goaltender has appeared in 36 AHL games with Providence with an overall record of 24-7-4. The Sound Beach, New York native was signed as a free agent by Boston in 2022.
Carrick, 28, has skated in 60 games with Providence this season, recording six goals and 35 assists for 41 points. The 5-foot-10, 198-pound defenseman has appeared in 241 career NHL games, totaling 13 goals and 36 assists for 49 points. He has also skated in 277 career AHL games scoring 36 goals and 120 assists for 156 points. The Orland Park, Illinois native was signed as a free agent by Boston in 2022.
Lettieri, 28, has skated in 45 games with Providence this season, recording 21 goals and 24 assists for 45 points. The 5-foot-10, 184-pound forward has appeared in 82 career NHL games, totaling seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points. He has also skated in 264 career AHL games scoring 114 goals and 111 assists for 225 points. The Excelsior, Minnesota native was signed as a free agent by Boston in 2022.
Steen, 25, has skated in three games with Boston this season, tallying his first goal of the year in the team's 4-3 shootout win at St. Louis on April 2. He has skated in 63 games with Providence this season, recording 14 goals and 17 assists for 31 points. The 5-foot-9, 199-pound forward has appeared in 195 career AHL games with Providence, totaling 41 goals and 59 assists for 100 points. The Karlstad, Sweden native was originally selected by Boston in the sixth round (165th overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
