Bruins Recall Brandon Bussi for Purposes of Emergency

BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, April 17, that the team has recalled goaltender Brandon Bussi from Providence for purposes of emergency. Bussi will serve as the third goalie for purposes of emergency for tonight's postseason game vs. Florida.

Bussi, 24, has skated in 32 games with Providence this season, recording an overall record of 22-5-4 with a 2.40 goals against average and .924 save percentage. The 6-foot-5, 209-pound goaltender has appeared in 37 AHL games with Providence with an overall record of 25-7-4. The Sound Beach, New York native was signed by the Bruins as a free agent in 2022.
