BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, January 15, that the team has recalled forward Peter Cehlarik from Providence.

Cehlarik is tied for the team lead in scoring in Providence this season with 10 goals and 19 assists for 29 points in 37 games.
He appeared in six games with Boston in 2017-18, tallying his first career NHL goal on November 18, 2017 at San Jose. The 23-year-old forward also recorded 11 goals and 12 assists for 23 points in 35 games with Providence.
In 17 career NHL games with Boston, Cehlarik has posted one goal and three assists for four points, while adding 41 goals and 49 assists for 90 points in 121 career AHL games with Providence.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Zilina, Slovakia native was originally selected by Boston in the third round (90th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
