BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, August 23, that the team has signed goaltender Dan Vladar to a three-year contract extension through the 2022-23 season with an annual NHL cap hit of $750,000.

The first two years of the deal are a two-way contract, while the final year is a one-way contract.
Vladar, 23, played in 25 games with the Providence Bruins in 2019-20, compiling a 14-7-1 record with three shutouts, a 1.79 goals against average and .936 save percentage. The 6-foot-5, 185-pound netminder led the AHL in both goals against average and save percentage.
In his AHL career, Vladar has appeared in 68 games with Providence, compiling a 33-26-3 record with a 2.35 goals against average and .916 save percentage.
The Prague, Czech Republic native was originally selected by the Bruins in the third round (75th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
