BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, July 23, that the team has signed forward Jack Studnicka to a two-year contract with an annual NHL cap hit of $762,500. The contract is a two-way deal for the 2022-23 season and a one-way deal for the 2023-24 season.

Studnicka, 23, appeared in 15 NHL games in Boston during the 2021-22 season, recording three assists for three points. The Windsor, Ontario native also skated in 41 games with the Providence Bruins, ending the season with 10 goals and 25 assists for 35 points.
The 6-foot-2, 186-pound center also played in two games of the 2022 Calder Cup Playoffs with Providence, where he finished with one assist.
Studnicka was originally selected by Boston in second round (53rd overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
