Bruins Sign Jesper Boqvist to One-Year Contract

BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeneyannounced today, July 12, that the team has signed forward Jesper Boqvist to a one-year NHL contract with a cap hit of $775,000.

Boqvist, 24, played 70 games with the New Jersey Devils during the 2022-23 season, recording 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points.

The 6-foot, 180-pound forward has played in 189 career NHL games through four seasons, all with the Devils, with career totals of 28 goals and 27 assists for 55 points.

The Falun, Sweden native was originally selected by the New Jersey Devils in the second round (36th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
