BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, August 16, that the team has signed forward John Farinacci to a two-year entry-level contract with an annual NHL cap hit of $910,000.

Farinacci, 22, appeared in 19 NCAA games with Harvard University in 2022-23, recording five goals and 15 assists for 20 points. The 6-foot, 185-pound forward spent three seasons at Harvard University, totaling 23 goals and 36 assists for 59 points in 78 NCAA games.

During the 2020-21 season, Farinacci skated in seven games with the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL, tallying four goals and four assists for eight points.

The Red Bank, New Jersey native was originally selected by the Arizona Coyotes in the third round (76th overall) of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
