BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, April 10, that the team has signed forward Oskar Steen to a two-year, one-way contract extension through the 2023-24 season with an annual NHL cap hit of $800,000.

Steen, 23, has appeared in 19 games for the Boston Bruins this season, recording two goals and four assists for six points. The 5-foot-9, 199-pound forward has also appeared in 41 games for the Providence Bruins this season, recording 15 goals and 16 assists for 31 points.
The Karlstad, Sweden native was originally selected by the Bruins in the sixth round (165th overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry draft.
