BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, June 25, that the team has signed forward Trent Fredericto a two-year contract with an annual NHL cap hit of $1.05 million.

Frederic, 23, skated in 42 games with the Bruins in 2020-21, recording four goals and one assist for five points.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound forward made his NHL debut with the Bruins on January 29, 2019 against Winnipeg.
Frederic has appeared in 127 games for the Providence Bruins from 2017-2020, totaling 27 goals and 38 assists for 65 points. In two seasons at the University of Wisconsin from 2016-2018, Frederic tallied 32 goals and 33 assists for 65 points.
The St. Louis, Missouri native was originally selected by the Boston Bruins in the first round (29th overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
