For the Small Business Takeover, TD Bank will grant all possible advertising "real estate" at TD Garden to a local small business for the duration of the game. This includes the 360 LED screens, dasher boards, video walls, roster card and TD Bank corporate suite, in addition to digital support from all Bruins social channels.
Saturday's Small Business Takeover will be given to Day's Jewelers. Day's Jewelers is a Maine-based and employee-owned company, founded by the Davidson brothers in Portland in 1914. In 1988, Madawaska, Maine natives Kathy and Jeff Coreypurchased Day's Jewelers from the store's original founders and sold the company to employees in 2021. Day's Jewelers employs approximately 140 people in Maine and New Hampshire with eight different store locations, as well as a full e-commerce website.
All Day's locations feature full-service departments and custom jewelry designers. Day's has been selected among "Best Places to Work in Maine" for seven years, as well as "Retailer of the Year" in 2016 and "Corporate Retailer of the Year" by the Women's Jewelers Association of America in 2017. Most recently, Day's Jewelers was voted Maine's Family Business of the Year in 2019.
