BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney issued the following update on Boston Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron and goaltender Tuukka Rask:
Patrice underwent a successful sports hernia repair on May 8 by Dr. Brian Busconi and Dr. Demetrius Litwin.
Tuukka underwent a successful right groin surgery on May 9 by Dr. Peter Asnis.
Both players are expected make a full recovery and be ready for the start of the 2017-18 NHL season.
