LEOMINSTER - The third annual Boston Bruins Fan Fest Tour resumed on Thursday, making its first-ever visit to Leominster, Massachusetts. Bruins forward prospect Jack Studnicka, general manager Don Sweeney, assistant coach Joe Sacco, and alum Andrew Alberts were on hand as the event's second weekend kicked off at Doyle Field.
The stop was added to this year's tour thanks to Leominster resident George Marchetti, who was the winner of the Bruins' Spoked-B drawing contest. The youngster was honored on stage during the event as his winning design was revealed as the new Bruins Academy Kids Club logo.
The Bruins Academy Kids Club was announced on Thursday morning.
