BOSTON - When Kenny Agostino signed with the Bruins, he had already established a reputation as an elite scorer at the AHL level. Agostino was named the MVP of the American Hockey League last season after tallying 24 goals, 59 assists, and a league-leading 83 points.
The New Jersey native has picked up right where he left off last season. Through three games for Providence, Agostino leads the P-Bruins in assists (5), points (7), and is tied for the team lead in goals (2). After recording a point on each of Providence's five goals over the previous two games (2-3-5), the forward was named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Oct. 15.
