The table tennis tournament, which has raised almost $300,000 since 2018, will feature players from the active Boston Bruins roster, on-air personalities from 98.5 The Sports Hub, and members of Special Olympics Massachusetts. All proceeds from the event will benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts and the Boston Bruins Foundation.
The event will feature a single-elimination tournament with Bruins players, on-air talent, and winning bidders. The rounds will advance to a championship game featuring the two final teams, with the winning duo crowned the Patrice Bergeron & 98.5 The Sports Hub Pucks & Paddles Champions. In addition, the four best Bruins ping pong players will participate in a separate informal singles competition.
