DENNIS BONVIE
DIRECTOR OF PRO SCOUTING
Dennis Bonvie is in his tenth season in the Bruins organization and is in his third season as the team’s Director of Pro Scouting. He had served for the previous seven seasons as a professional leagues scout based out of Pennsylvania after beginning his scouting career as a pro scout for the Chicago Blackhawks from 2009-2015. The native of Antigonish, Nova Scotia played 963 professional games over 15 seasons at mostly the American Hockey League level, including 92 NHL games with Edmonton, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Boston (1-2=3 totals in 2001-02), Ottawa and Colorado.
BRETT HARKINS
HEAD COLLEGE AND AMATEUR SCOUT
Brett Harkins is in his tenth season in the Bruins organization and was named as Head College Scout in 2022 after serving as a college scout since 2015. Based in Ohio, he scouts prospects currently playing at the college level. Selected by the New York Islanders in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft, he spent 15 profession seasons at the NHL (Florida, Boston, and Columbus), AHL and IHL levels in addition to Europe, including 45 games over two seasons with the Bruins (4-15=19 totals in 1994-95 and 1996-97).
DEAN MALKOC
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF AMATEUR SCOUTING
Dean Malkoc is in his 18th season in the Bruins organization and was promoted to the Associate Director of Amateur Scouting in August 2022 after serving as an amateur scout. The Vancouver native played 11 professional seasons in the NHL, AHL and IHL level, including four NHL seasons with Vancouver, Boston (73 games from 1996-97 to 1997-98) and NY Islanders.
DARREN YOPYK
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF AMATEUR SCOUTING
Darren Yopyk is in his third season in the Bruins organization as the team’s Assistant Director of Amateur Scouting. The native of St. Paul, Alberta played four seasons of college hockey at Princeton University and turned to coaching in 2005, spending four seasons as an assistant coach at Merrimack College. He served two years as the General Manager and Head Coach for the BCHL Westside Warriors before moving into the scouting ranks as an amateur scout with Minnesota (2011-2019), the Wild’s Co-Director of Amateur Scouting (2019-20) and as an amateur scout during the inaugural 2021-22 Seattle Kraken campaign.
MATT LINDBLAD
PRO SCOUT
Matt Lindblad is in his ninth season in the Bruins organization. He is a professional leagues scout based out of California. Signed as a free agent by Boston in 2013, he played two seasons in the Bruins organization, including four games in Boston, before finishing his playing career with Hartford/AHL in 2015-16.
PARKER MacKAY
AMATEUR AND COLLEGE SCOUT
Parker MacKay is in his fourth season in the Bruins organization. A native of Irma, Alberta, he joined the Boston staff as an amateur scout in Western Alberta in 2021-22 and added college scouting responsibilities last season. A four-year player with the University of Minnesota-Duluth, including as a two-year NCAA Champion, he played one season with the AHL’s Texas Stars before playing his final season with Graz in Austria.
JEFF BARRATT
AMATEUR SCOUT
Jeff Barratt is in his seventh season in the Bruins organization. Based out of Michigan, he scouts amateur prospects in the United States while supplementing coverage in Ontario. He came to the Bruins with 30 years’ experience in coaching and scouting, most previously as an assistant coach with the OHL’s Sarnia Sting for three seasons.
ALAIN BISSONNETTE
AMATEUR SCOUT
Alain Bissonnette is in his tenth season in the Bruins organization. Based out of Quebec, he scouts amateur prospects in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He came to the Bruins following 18 seasons as a head scout in the QMJHL, most previously with Shawinigan with whom he won a Memorial Cup in 2012.
ANDREW DICKSON
AMATEUR SCOUT
Andrew Dickson is in his sixth season in the Bruins organization. He is based in Port Elgin, Ontario and scouts amateur prospects in Eastern Canada. He joined the Bruins scouting staff following 11 seasons as an amateur scout with the Columbus Blue Jackets and Detroit Red Wings. He played college hockey at Colgate University and later served as an assistant coach in that program.
DOUG LEAVERTON
AMATEUR SCOUT
Doug Leaverton is in his eighth season in the Bruins organization. A full-time scout based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he scouts amateur prospects in the United States. He joined the Bruins after serving the 2016-17 season as Director of Player Personnel for USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program. He played college hockey at Colorado College and served for three seasons as head scout and assistant coach of the USHL’s Cedar Rapids club.

AMATEUR SCOUT
Bob Wetick is in his tenth season in the Bruins organization. Based out of Toronto, Ontario, he serves as a regional amateur scout covering the Ontario Hockey League. He came to the Bruins organization following 17 seasons as Director of Scouting for the OHL’s North Bay Battalion.
ARSENIY BONDAREV
EUROPEAN SCOUT
Arseniy Bondarev is in his sixth season in the Bruins organization, scouting amateur prospects in Russia while being based in Yaroslavl. He is a former draft pick of the New Jersey Devils (ninth round in 2003) and played professionally in Europe and Russia from 2004-2008.
TEEMU NUMMINEN
EUROPEAN SCOUT
Teemu Numminen is in his fifth season in the Bruins organization as a European scout. He is based in Tampere, Finland and came to the Bruins after nine seasons as a European scout for the Buffalo Sabres. He was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in 1992 and played three seasons in the North American minor leagues in addition to six seasons with Finland’s SM Liiga.

Victor Nybladh is in his ninth season in the Bruins organization. He is based in Sweden and scouts amateur prospects in Europe. He joined the Bruins scouting staff following four seasons as a European scout with the Buffalo Sabres.

Svenake Svensson is in his 34th season in the Bruins organization. Based in Sweden, he scouts throughout Europe.
DEREK MAcKINNON
PRO SCOUT
Derek MacKinnon is in his second season in the Bruins organization. He came to Boston after spending nine seasons as the Director of Player Personnel for the Calgary Flames as well as four years as a pro scout. Prior to his time in Calgary, he served as a pro scout for Arizona from 2008-2014 and as the Video Coach with the Dallas Stars for five seasons from 2003-2008.
MILAN JURCINA
EUROPEAN SCOUT
Milan Jurcina is in his second season with the Bruins as a European scout, having retired as a player after the 2022-23 season following nine NHL seasons and another four in his native Czechia. Drafted by the Bruins in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, he played two years in Boston (8-6=14 totals in 91 games) and another seven seasons with Washington, St. Louis, and NY Islanders with 81 points in 430 total NHL games. He played his final four pro seasons with HC Sparta Praha.
