The Washington Capitals have recalled forward Riley Barber from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.
The 6'0", 200-pound forward leads Hershey with 18 points (8g, 10a) this season. The Pittsburgh, Pa., native has recorded six multi-point games this season, including a season high three points (1g, 2a) on Dec. 2 against the Binghamton Devils. In addition, Barber leads the Bears and is tied for seventh in the AHL in shots on goal (74).
