The Devils hit the ice at the RWJBarnabas Hockey House Monday morning ahead of traveling to Philadelphia to take on the Flyers Tuesday night. New Jersey has a big week with four contests: Tuesday at Philadelphia, Thursday vs. the Golden Knights, Saturday at Detroit and Sunday vs the Penguins.
Ahead of practice, the Devils announced the call ups of Kevin Bahl and Marián Studenič from Utica, as the team put Nico Hischier and Ryan Graves in the league's COVID protocol Saturday.
Following practice it was announced that Christian Jaros entered COVID protocol as well and is unavailable. Yegor Sharangovich was held out of practice Monday as a precaution however, he was not in protocol.
