CANADA 4, SWEDEN 3
Canada: Dawson Mercer, Damon Severson, Ryan Graves
Going into the final 20 minutes of regulation, it looked like Sweden was going to coast into the semifinals with a 3-0 victory over Canada. However, Devils defenseman Ryan Graves said not so quick. His goal a minute and 21 seconds into the third period helped spark a Canada comeback and a 4-3 quarterfinal win. Pierre-Luc Dubois and Matt Barzal's goals tied the game and sent it to overtime where Drake Batherson scored on the power play to secure the win.
Graves finished the game with one goal on six shots through 20:31 of ice time. Damon Severson skated 27:16 in the win, while Mercer rounded out the Devils players on Canada with 5:55 time on ice.

FINLAND 4, SLOVAKIA 2
Slovakia: Tomas Tatar
After Slovakia jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first 15 minutes of the game, Finland's Marko Anttila scored his first of two to cut the Slovak's lead. One goal in the second and two tallies in the third period from Finland helped Group B's top team pick up a spot in the semifinal round. Slovakia exits the tournament with a 4-2 loss.
Tomas Tatar had one shot and played 18:16 in the loss. The Devils forward finished the tournament with three goals and three assists for a total of six points.

USA 3, SWITZERLAND 0
USA: Luke Hughes, Jon Gillies (DND)
Switzerland: Nico Hischier, Jonas Siegenthaler
Despite advancing to the playoff rounds as the fourth seed in Group B, Team USA came out strong and upset the top-ranked Swiss in a quarterfinal matchup. Ben Meyers had the opening goal twelve minutes into the game, and Devils prospect Luke Hughes picked up an assist. Adam Gaudette scored another in the first to give the U.S. a 2-0 lead. In the final ten minutes of the game, Meyers added his second of the contest to give the Americans a dominating three-goal lead.
Switzerland finished the group stage without a loss, and was looking to pick up a medal after one of the best starts for the nation at this tournament. Nico Hischier played 19 minutes and 39 seconds and registered three shots on goal. The Devils Captain finished the tournament with five goals and three assists for eight points, and was named one of Switzerland's Top-3 players following the game.
Jonas Siegenthaler played 23 minutes and 18 seconds in the loss and recorded one shot on goal. The Devils defenseman finished the tournament with one goal and four assists for five total points and a +8 rating.
Devils prospect Luke Hughes had one assist in the win and played 14:16. Goaltender Jon Gillies did not dress in the quarterfinal game.
