Reasons to attend 80's Night

The Devils are returning home from a four-game road trip and will be playing their first game of 2019 at Prudential Center this Thursday, January 10. While New Jersey hosts the Toronto Maple Leafs, the game presentation and arena will take a trip back to a time where big hair, neon tracksuits, and shoulder pads were in style for 80's Night. Here are a few reasons you should be at Prudential Center for this 7PM puck drop:

The first 9,000 fans through doors on Thursday will receive a Ken Daneyko Ghostbusters Bobblehead. Being that it's the 35th anniversary of the original Ghostbusters movie, it was a no-brainer to incorporate this iconic 80's movie into 80's night with Mr. Daneyko, who's been around since the 80's. Make sure to arrive early so you don't miss out!

The Devils will wear their heritage jerseys to honor the uniforms the Devils wore in the 80's. The team has only worn these jerseys one other time this season, on December 23 at Prudential Center. These jerseys are available for purchase at the Devils Den team store or on

80's Themed Game Presentation

There will be a special 80's themed opening video that will be played after warm-ups, before the team takes the ice at Prudential Center this Thursday. Don't miss out on 80's themed player videos testing their 80's knowledge throughout the game. The music played in-arena will take on the theme of the night, and there will be special video packages and clips from fans' favorite 80's movies and TV shows that will be shown on the jumbotron.
80's Themed Activations
On the upper concourse of Prudential Center in the Skyloft, located at the top of the escalator located across from section 19 on the main concourse, will be transformed to a classic gaming zone for fans to play old favorites like Blades of Steel, Pacman, Donkey Kong, and more. In addition, there will be 80's characters walking around the concourse for fans to snap a photo with, RC Cars on the main concourse, and a band will be playing 80's hits in the Bud Bar on the upper concourse.
