Zetterlund, 19, spent the last two seasons, 2017-19, in the Swedish Hockey League with Farjestad BK. The right-shooting winger suffered a knee injury during the 2018-19 season, limiting him to just 16 games (2g-2a-4pts). Through 65 career SHL games, Zetterlund notched five goals and six assists for 11 points. During the 2017-18 playoffs, Zetterlund skated in six games, recording one goal and one assist for two points. He has spent his entire hockey career coming up through the Farjestad program.
The 5-11, 200lb., native of Karlstad, Sweden, has represented his country on three occasions, highlighted by winning the Silver Medal in 2018 alongside fellow Devils' prospect, Jesper Boqvist, at the U20 World Junior Championships. This past year, he served as the Alternate Captain for Sweden's entry at the 2019 U20 World Junior Championships.
