Matej Blumel scored the game's only goal while American defenseman Luke Hughes logged 18:02 minutes of ice time.

DENMARK 3, CANADA 2
Canada: Damon Severson, Ryan Graves, Dawson Mercer
Devils defenseman Ryan Graves scored a late third-period goal, but it wasn't enough as for Canada in an upset loss to Denmark, 3-2, Monday at Helsinki Ice Hall.
Graves scored with 3:51 left in regulation to cut it to a one-goal game. Fellow Devil Damon Severson picked up an assist.
