The Vegas Golden Knights have made three key trades in the last week as NHL's trade deadline of noon PT Friday rapidly approaches.

General Manager Kelly McCrimmon made notable additions to the team's forward corps and added a veteran at the goaltending position as the Golden Knights jostle for positioning for the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
There's still time for Vegas to make more moves, but these three acquisitions are ready to make an impact with their new team.
Ivan Barbashev - Forward
Barbashev has already appeared in two games with the Golden Knights since being acquired from the St. Louis Blues on Sunday in exchange for forward Zach Dean. After making his debut against the Colorado Avalanche on Monday, Barbashev picked up an assist on a Jack Eichel goal against the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday. Prior to his time in Vegas, Barbashev won a Stanley Cup with the St. Louis Blues in 2019 in just his third NHL season. The Russian forward had a career-best 60 points (26G, 34A) in 2021-22 with St. Louis and has 179 points (78G, 101A) in 179 games.
Teddy Blueger - Forward
Blueger joins the Golden Knights after being acquired on Wednesday evening from the Pittsburgh Penguins. In his fifth NHL season, Blueger has 10 points (2G, 8A) and has a career total of 92 points (33G, 59A). Touted as a skilled defensive center, Blueger has a career plus/minus rating of +24 and has had 25-or-fewer penalty minutes in each of his five seasons.
Jonathan Quick - Goaltender
Vegas fans will remember Quick well from his 15 seasons with the Los Angeles Kings. Quick backstopped Los Angeles to its first Stanley Cup in franchise history in 2012 and captured the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player in the playoffs. After falling in the Western Conference Final in 2013, Quick and the Kings won their second Stanley Cup in 2014 as they defeated the New York Rangers in five games. Quick is the winningest goalie in Kings history with 370 victories in his 43,216:05 of ice time. He is 40 stops away from hitting the 20,000-save mark.
