This past weekend at the NHL All-Star Game, it was the thought that couldn't escape the Golden Knights' brass's minds.
As Staples Center was jammed to capacity, as the area around LA Live that closely resembles The Park outside T-Mobile Arena was jammed with fan fests, public ice skating and activity. As Snoop Dogg and Nick Jonas performed on the ice, as the league's elite talent scored breathtaking goals at a dizzying rate, as all the NHL's excitement was focused on LA.
This whole time, Vegas' front office, attending its first All-Star Game as a team, couldn't help but fantasize about how spectacular it would be to perhaps someday host an All-Star Game in our city.
Apparently, we weren't the only ones consumed with this daydream.
