There's a saying: don't do anything great unless you can handle the congratulations.
For Reid Duke, who signed to become the first player in Golden Knights history on Monday, this famous saying became reality, courtesy of social media.
After all, if you're 21-years-old and instantly go from being a relatively unknown (on a national scale) junior player to a trending topic on Twitter, you have to imagine that your buddies are going to do something about it.
For Duke, that buddy was his roommate Caiden Daley, a 17-year-old center with the Brandon Wheat Kings.
