VEGAS (October 31, 2017) -Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, October 31, the following roster transactions: the team has placed goaltender Oscar Dansk on the injured reserve list and has recalled goaltender Dylan Ferguson on an emergency basis from the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League. Ferguson is expected to join the team for their game at the New York Rangers on Tuesday at 4 p.m. PT.
Dansk (lower body) is expected to miss the remainder of the current Golden Knights road trip. Prior to the injury, he had a 3-0-0 record to go with a 1.78 goals-against-average and a .946 save percentage in four games.
The Golden Knights acquired Ferguson and a second-round pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft from the Dallas Stars on June 26 in exchange for defenseman Marc Methot. Ferguson signed a three-year, entry level contract with the team on September 28.
