INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS
Pietrangelo has represented Canada five times and has earned a medal in four of those appearances. He was part of the Canadian team that won gold at the 2009 World Junior Championship and earned a silver medal at the 2010 tournament. Pietrangelo's first Olympic gold medal came in Sochi in 2014 and he earned a gold medal with Canada at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. Though he did not medal with Canada at the 2011 IIHF World Championship, he was named the best defenseman in the tournament as he led Canada's blueline in scoring with five points (2G, 3A).
