After surrending a 4-1 third-period lead that Vegas was within 10 seconds of winning in regulation, David Perron fired the game-winning goal past Chad Johnson 3:52 into the overtime period to lift the Golden Knights to a 5-4 win.
Vegas is now 5-1-0, and off to the best start by an expansion team in league history.
