Mark Stone posted three points (1G, 2A) as the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Winnipeg Jets, 4-1, in Game 5 on Thursday night at T-Mobile Arena. The Golden Knights won the best-of-seven series, 4-1.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
Chandler Stephenson got the scoring started as he finished off a passing play from Brett Howden and Stone to give Vegas a 1-0 lead just 50 seconds in. The rest of the opening period passed without a goal, but Stone got the fans back on their feet when he scored 42 second into the middle frame. William Karlsson and Stephenson also tacked on goals as the Golden Knights carried the 4-0 advantage into the final period. Kyle Connor's goal with less than six minutes to play made it a 4-1 game, but Laurent Brossoit slammed the door to eliminate his former team.
