Golden Knights Eliminated by Canadiens in Overtime of Game 6

Vegas came up a goal short in pursuit of extending the series

The Vegas Golden Knights were defeated by the Montreal Canadiens, 3-2, in overtime of Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Semifinals on Thursday night at Bell Centre. Montreal wins the best-of-seven series to advance to the Stanley Cup Final.
Vegas' season comes to an end in the third round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the second season in a row. The Golden Knights eliminated the Minnesota Wild in seven games in the first round before defeating the President's Trophy-winning Colorado Avalanche in six games in Round 2.
