VEGAS (January 10, 2018) -Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, January 10, that the team has placed defenseman Luca Sbisa on the injured reserve list. Sbisa is expected to miss at least 6-8 weeks. The 27-year-old defenseman underwent successful surgery to repair a ruptured a ligament in his left hand. The injury occurred in the Golden Knights game against the Chicago Blackhawks on January 5.

He has recorded 10 points (1G, 9 A) to go with 13 penalty minutes in 24 games this season. He recorded his first multi-point game of the year after scoring a goal and tallying an assist against the Winnipeg Jets on November 10.
