The Vegas Golden Knights took down the Arizona Coyotes, 4-3, in their fifth preseason game on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
Zack Hayes got things started for Vegas as he put the home team up, 1-0, at 8:53 of the first. Hayes scored again five minutes later as the Golden Knights took the 2-0 lead into the intermission. In the second, Coyotes forward Matias Maccelli cut the lead in half on a deflection, making it a one-goal game. Less than three minutes later, Barrett Hayton tied the game at 2-2 on another deflected shot. In the final period, Pavel Dorofeyev potted the go-ahead goal on a breakaway to make it 3-2 for the Golden Knights. Five minutes later, Alex Chiasson scored a power-play goal for Arizona, tying it 3-3. William Karlsson snagged the game-winner with less than two minutes left in the third, securing the 4-3 victory for Vegas.

Zack Hayes: Hayes found the back of the net twice in the victory.
Michael Amadio:Amadio's three assists made him the highest scorer of the game.
