VEGAS (May 30, 2019) - Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, March 30, that the team has signed forward Jonas Rondbjerg to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Rondbjerg was selected by the Golden Knights in the third round (65th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft and is currently playing with the Vaxjo Lakers HC of the Swedish Hockey League. He has appeared in 44 games for Vaxjo this season, recording six points (2 G, 4 A) to go with six penalty minutes. The Horsholm, Denmark native represented Team Denmark and served as the team captain at the 2019 World Junior Championships and finished with two points (1 G, 1 A) in six games. During the 2017-18 season, Rondbjerg finished with 11 points (6 G, 5 A) to go with four penalty minutes in 35 games with the Lakers and also represented Denmark at the 2018 World Junior Championships.
