The Vegas Golden Knights (40-25-8) grounded the Winnipeg Jets (44-23-6) with a 4-1 win on Thursday night at Canada Life Centre.

Pavel Dorofeyev put Vegas up 1-0 when he scored his 12th goal of the season with less than five minutes remaining in the opening frame. In the second period, Sean Monahan tied the game at 1-1 with a tip-in shot at 3:31. With 5:29 remaining in the third, Ivan Barbashev scored the go-ahead goal for the Golden Knights, netting a backhander past Connor Hellebuyck to bring the score to 2-1. Barbashev, again, scored an empty-netter less than five minutes later to make it 3-1. Jack Eichel potted a second empty-net goal for Vegas with less than one minute remaining, solidifying the 4-1 final.
