The Golden Knights picked up their second win in a row with a 5-1 victory against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday afternoon at T-Mobile Arena. Alex Pietrangelo led the way offensively with two points (1G, 1A) while Chandler Stephenson, Michael Amadio, Mattias Janmark and Evgenii Dadonov also found the back of the net. Logan Thompson made 38 saves on 39 shots for his third NHL win.

Minnesota ranks third in the Central Division with 76 points and a 36-20-4 record. The Wild have won consecutive games heading into Monday's matchup and are 5-4-1 in the month of March. General Manager Bill Guerin has been busy around the NHL Trade Deadline as he's added Nicolas Deslauriers, Tyson Jost, and former Golden Knight Marc-Andre Fleury to the Wild roster.

Vegas has won both matchups against the Wild this season. The Golden Knights won the first game against Minnesota, 3-2, on Nov. 11 as Paul Cotter and Jonas Rondbjerg each scored their first NHL goal. In the most recent meeting, Vegas defeated Minnesota, 6-4, at T-Mobile Arena as Chandler Stephenson (4A), Mark Stone (1G, 2A) and Max Pacioretty (1G, 2A) led the way.
