In honor of Día de Muertos, the team will have multiple activations in T-Mobile Arena and on Toshiba Plaza to celebrate the day. Activations will include:
• Face painting
• Mariachi band participation in the March to the Fortress and throughout the game
• Special warm-up jerseys worn by VGK players to be auctioned during the game
• Exclusive Día de Muertos-themed merchandise

LAST TIME OUT
First-period goals from William Karlsson and Alex Tuch allowed the Golden Knights to take a 2-1 lead through 20 minutes Thursday night against the Montreal Canadiens. After the Habs tied the game in the second, Cody Glass and Mark Stone scored to give Vegas a 4-2 lead midway through the third period. Montreal battled back with two late goals before Max Domi's goal in overtime gave the Canadiens the victory.
VGK LEADING SCORERS
Stone's eighth goal of the season Thursday night gave him the outright lead in tallies for the Golden Knights, putting him one score ahead of Reilly Smith (7G). Stone's 17 points rank eighth in the NHL. William Karlsson (4G, 8A) and Max Pacioretty (2G, 10A) sit tied for second on the Vegas roster in points with 12 each.

OPPOSITION UPDATE
An up-and-down start to the season has left the Winnipeg Jets with a 7-7-0 record through 14 games. In their last outing, the Jets were on the wrong side of a 53-19 shots total but found a way to win Friday night in San Jose, 3-2.
Nikolaj Ehlers (7G, 7A) and Mark Scheifele (4G, 10A) share the team lead in scoring with 14 points each. From the blueline, Neal Pionk (2G, 6A) and Josh Morrissey (1G, 7A) have contributed to the offense with eight points apiece.
KEYS TO THE GAME
Speed Negates The Forecheck: Winnipeg scored two of its three goals against the Sharks on plays where a dogged forecheck forced a turnover that quickly wound up in the net. If the Golden Knights can move the puck out of their zone with speed, it will take away a key part of Winnipeg's game.
Hit The Road Happy: The Golden Knights will head out on a four-game road trip on Sunday, so they'll want to leave home on a high note with a win Saturday night.
