VEGAS (February 11, 2018)- Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, February 11, the following roster transaction: the team has recalled forward Paul Thompson on an emergency basis from the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves. Thompson is expected to be available for today's game against the Philadelphia Flyers at 5 p.m. PT.
Thompson has appeared in 48 games for the Wolves this season and has tallied 26 points (14 G, 12 A) to go with 82 penalty minutes. His 14 goals rank second on the team. In his NHL career, Thompson has recorded three assists to go with 24 penalty minutes in 24 games over the course of two seasons with the New Jersey Devils (2015-16) and the Florida Panthers (2016-17). The Methuen, Massachusetts native signed a one-year contract with Vegas on July 1, 2017.
