VEGAS (February 15, 2018) -Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, February 15, the following roster transaction: the team has assigned forward Reid Duketo the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves.
Duke became the first player in team history to sign with the Golden Knights on March 6. He was injured in training camp and was recently cleared to return to play. During the 2016-17 campaign with the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings, Duke finished with 71 points (37 G, 34 A) to go with 81 penalty minutes in 59 games. As a junior, he compiled 254 points (115 G, 139 A) to go with 329 penalty minutes in 311 games with the Lethbridge Hurricanes (2011-14) and the Wheat Kings (2014-17). The native of Calgary, Alberta was originally drafted by the Minnesota Wild in the sixth round (169th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
