The Vegas Golden Knights (24-19-6) dropped their fourth game in a row in a 4-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres (21-19-7) on Tuesday night at KeyBank Center.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
After a scoreless first period, Chandler Stephenson set up Tomas Nosek for the first goal of the game at 1:55 of the second. Kyle Okposo answered for Buffalo and Sam Reinhart gave the Sabres the lead in the final minute of the frame. A goal from Reilly Smith made things all square early in the third, but an end-to-end rush from Jack Eichel resulted in a 3-2 Buffalo lead. An empty-net goal from Curtis Lazar wrapped up the 4-2 win for the home squad.
