VEGAS (June 16, 2022)- Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced today, June 16, the following roster transaction: Defenseman Shea Weber has been acquired from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for forward Evgenii Dadonov.

Weber, 36, did not appear in a game with Montreal during the 2021-22 season due to multiple lower-body injuries. He will remain on injured reserve.
Weber has appeared in 1,038 games during his NHL career, collecting 589 points (224 G, 365 A). The native of British Columbia was drafted in the second round (49th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
