VEGAS (February 19, 2018) -Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, February 19, the following roster transactions: the team has recalled forwards Stefan MatteauandTomas Hykafrom the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves. Both players are expected to be available for tonight's game against the Anaheim Ducks at 7 p.m. PT.

Matteau has appeared in 42 games for the Wolves this season and has 17 points (11 G, 6 A) to go with 38 penalty minutes. On February 2 against Milwaukee, the Chicago, Illinois native recorded his first AHL career hat trick. He was signed by the Golden Knights as a free agent on July 1, 2017.
Hyka has appeared in 35 games for the Wolves this season and has recorded 34 points (13 G, 21 A) to go with two penalty minutes. During the preseason with the Golden Knights, Hyka appeared in five of the seven games and ranked tied for fourth in the NHL with four goals. He finished the exhibition schedule with five points (4G, 1A) and was one of three players on the team to record multiple goals during the preseason. Hyka was signed to an entry-level contract by the Golden Knights on June 1, 2017.
