Last season with Chicago, Quinney recorded 43 points (19 G, 24 A) to go with 17 penalty minutes in 68 games. He helped lead the Wolves to a Calder Cup Final appearance after finishing with nine points (4 G, 5 A) in 18 Calder Cup playoff games. Quinney's first stint in professional hockey came with the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers during the 2016-17 season. He recorded 44 points (18 G, 26 A) to go with 10 penalty minutes in 45 games. He spent the 2017-18 season with the American Hockey League's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and finished with 33 points (14 G, 19 A) with 18 penalty minutes in 57 games. Quinney signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Golden Knights on June 1, 2018.
