VEGAS (March 17, 2022) - Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced today, March 17, that the team has signed defenseman Derrick Pouliot to a one-year contract.

Pouliot, who will wear number 51, has appeared in 202 career National Hockey League games, and has posted 48 points (8 G, 40 A) to go with 81 penalty minutes. This season he has appeared in 42 games with the American Hockey League's Henderson Silver Knights and has posted 19 points (2 G, 17 A) to go with 36 penalty minutes. Pouliot has played for the Pittsburgh Penguins (2014-17), Vancouver Canucks (2017-19) and St. Louis Blues (2019-20) during his NHL career.
The Estevan, Saskatchewan native was a first-round selection (8th overall) by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
