Vegas Golden Knights Sign Defenseman Nate Schmidt To A Two-Year Contract

VEGAS (August 5, 2017) - Following an arbitration decision, Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPheeannounced today, August 5, that the team has signed defenseman Nate Schmidtto a two-year contract through the 2018-19 season worth an average annual value of $2,225,000.

Schmidt was selected by the Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft on June 21 (Washington Capitals).
