VEGAS (July 1, 2018) - Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPheeannounced today, July 1, that the team has signed forwardPaul Stastny.
Stastny, 32, tallied 53 points (16 G, 37 A) in 82 games during the 2017-18 season. He appeared in 63 games with the St. Louis Blues before being acquired by the Winnipeg Jets on Feb. 26, 2018, and appeared in 19 regular-season games with the Jets. During the 2018 Stanley Cup playoffs, Stastny recorded a career-high 15 points (6 G, 9 A) and helped Winnipeg reach the Western Conference Final. Over the course of his 12-year NHL career, he has recorded 646 points (220 G, 426 A) in 824 games. The Quebec City, Quebec native was selected by the Colorado Avalanche in the second round (44th overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
