hockey fights cancer release

VEGAS (November 18, 2022) - The Vegas Golden Knights announced today, November 18, plans for their Hockey Fights Cancer Knight presented by Optum Cancer Care Center on Wednesday, November 23. The team will be wearing lavender warm-up jerseys as it prepares to face the Ottawa Senators for a 7 p.m. PT puck drop at T-Mobile Arena.

Following warm-ups, fans will have the opportunity to place bids on the player-worn specialty sweaters. The warm-up jerseys will be available for auction online beginning at 5:45 p.m. PT and will conclude at 9 p.m. PT. Locker nameplates will be bundled with the jerseys. Fans can bid by visiting

or texting "VGKHFC" to 76278. Lavender taped sticks will also be for sale through the online auction. Warm-up pucks will be for sale after the game begins, with a limited number available inside T-Mobile Arena outside of Sections 11 and 12.
A portion of the proceeds from Wednesday night will donated to the Donskov Scholarship (in memory of assistant coach Misha Donskov's father), Kay's Power Play (in memory of Shea Theodore's grandmother), and the Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, a local organization dedicated to the cures and prevention of childhood diseases. Additionally, the 51/49 Raffle on Wednesday will be used to benefit these organizations. Promotional support of the 51/49 Raffle is sponsored by Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers.
During the game, fans are invited to Sections 9 and 10 to pick up and fill out "I Fight For" signs to honor and support their loved ones who are battling cancer. Fans will also have the opportunity to take a photo in front of the team's Hockey Fights Cancer Knight backdrop with their signs.
Cancer patients and survivors will be in attendance and recognized at T-Mobile Arena, including rally siren appearances. Representatives from Optum Cancer Care Center and the Cure 4 the Kids Foundation will be among those in attendance.
TNT will have the exclusive television broadcast of Wednesday's game between the Golden Knights and Senators. On radio, Dan D'Uva and Gary Lawless will call the action on FOX Sports Las Vegas 98.9 FM/1340 AM, while Jesus Lopez calls the game in Spanish on Deportes Vegas 1460 AM.
